In the case of the Cincinnati Bengals, that tide's name is Terrell Owens.
T.O. along with Chad Ochocinco are set to make one of the most dynamic football duos in recent memory.
Small wonder there's demand for T.O.'s new jerseys before they even hit the shelves at Cardboard Heroes.
"We're selling them right now, pre-selling them and as soon as we have them I'm sure they'll be flying off the shelves," says Manager Kevin Kuntz. "Probably a half dozen to a dozen or so and that's just since last night when we started pre-selling them."
Kuntz says Ochocinco's jerseys are also selling well, along with plenty of other Bengals gear-- hats, hoodies, you name it.
"All the guys, everybody loves Carson...but I think T.O. will definitely be the biggest for the next few weeks and hopefully he gets started well and him and Ocho's will be going pretty fast."
Along with the clamoring for the best in Bengals outfits comes the expectations for two of the game's most spectacular players helping the team to a spectacular season.
"I think Bengals fans in general are excited about this year after the kind of year they had last year, they're expecting big things this year, so they're just getting amped up for the season with training camp starting yesterday and getting all their gear now so they're ready when the season starts," says Kuntz.
But while the demand for T.O.'s Bengals jersey may be high, we ran into one guy who wasn't ready to let his Philadelphia T.O. jersey go just yet.
